Matilda is a casual academic, working at some of Melbourne’s top university campuses. She teaches graduate students in writing, editing and digital media disciplines.

The University of Melbourne

Matilda is a casual tutor and lecturer at The University of Melbourne, in the School of Culture and Communication. She works primarily with the school’s Publishing Program, and teaches editiorial and publishing practice, as well as writing and editing for digital media (at standard and advanced levels). Matilda also lectures in online journalism.

Deakin University

Matilda is a casual lecturer at Deakin University, in the School of Arts and Education. Working with the creative writing department, Matilda teaches short fiction and creative non-fiction practice to graduate-level students at Deakin’s Burwood campus.

Matilda is available for any tertiary and TAFE teaching work in the subject areas related to: creative and professional writing practice, editing and publishing, digital media and Australian journalism.
